Too Late for Love

Too Late for Love

Too Late for Love, where emotions flow
I love you, but it’s too late, my heart doth know
The words I speak, are but a echo
Of a love that could have been, but will never grow

I love you, but it’s too late to mend
The bridges that we’ve burnt, and the love that’s been spent
I wish I could turn back time, and make it right
But all that’s left is a love, that’s fading out of sight

I love you, but it’s too late to hold
The hands that once were mine, and the stories we’ve told
I wish I could start again, and make it new
But all that’s left is a love, that’s nothing but a few

I love you, but it’s too late to kiss
The lips that once were mine, and the memories we’ll miss
I wish I could change the past, and make it true
But all that’s left is a love, that’s nothing but a few

In a deep world, where emotions flow
I love you, but it’s too late, my heart doth know
The words I speak, are but a echo
Of a love that could have been, but will never grow
