Unlocking the Potential: Poetry in the Novel Form
In deep worlds, the place tales are spun
And characters’ fates are undone
There lies a power, oft unseen
The inventive potential of poetry, unleashed
With phrases that flow, like a river’s song
And phrases sharp, like a blade unsheathed
We weave a tapestry, rich and grand
Of worlds and stories, at our command
No longer sure by prose’s rules
We let our words, wild and free, pool
And spill out, in a cascade of sound
That echoes by way of the pages, profound
For poetry is not just for verse
But for all the tales we want to immerse
In rhythm, rhyme, and metaphor
Our novels come alive, and soar
So let not your writing be tame
Unleash the power, banish the blame
And let your phrases take flight
As you unleash the inventive might
